Hallinan Elementary School student Tommy Dunsmore explores the new school playground - called Hawk Haven - for the first time Monday. The $210,000, 16.000-square-foot project features more than 100 activities and is now open to students and the public. It replaces a beloved wooden playground that had fallen into disrepair in recent years.
