Woman shot during drug deal gone bad
Portland police have arrested a suspect in an April 25 shooting.
Domonique Williams, 19, is accused of shooting Hongdavy Vieth, 22, during a drug deal gone bad.
According to police, officers responding to a report of shots fired in the area of Northeaast 84th and Russell found Vieth in the area. She said the shots had been fired during a botched marijuana transaction.
Gang Enforcement Team investigators identified Williams as the suspect but determined the shooting was not gang-related. He was arrested on Friday and charged with attempted murder, first degree robbery, being a felon in possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon.
Williams was lodged in the Justice Center Jail and will be arraigned on Monday.
