Local band Stone in Love to perform at Bridgeport Village

Concert is set for Thursday, July 21
Journey tribute band Stone in Love - all but one of whom has ties to Beaverton - will perform live Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Bridgeport Village, as part of the Bridgeport Village Summer Concert Series presented by Audi.
Praised as one of the Northwest's hottest tribute bands, Stone in Love performs faithful renditions of Journey hits, one of the most loved rock groups of all time.
Bridgeport Village guests are invited to enjoy the free performance from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. under the giant gazebo in the center of the Tualatin shopping center.
'The series continues to grow in popularity,' said Kiki Hanover, marketing director for the center. 'Great music in support of a good cause makes for a perfect summer evening out.'
Taking place every Thursday through Aug.. 25, the free concerts also feature a wine and beer garden, food, reserved seating and a large children's play area.
A portion of food and drink sales from the concerts series will be donated to The Foundation for Tigard-Tualatin Schools Bridging the Gap campaign. Donations to the foundation may also be made at each concert.
Local youth acts from the Tigard-Tualatin School District will warm up the crowd every Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
