FRIDAY, JULY 15

Animal Activities at Blue Lake - 1 to 5 p.m., Blue Lake Regional Park, 20500 N.E. Marine Drive. (Repeats on Saturday, July 15.) Come see what creatures visit a garden and how they help it grow. Find animal footprints, see what attracts butterflies and how to help birds eat better. Enjoy activities such as critter rock painting, animal origami and wildlife journaling. For ages 3 and up; adult supervision is required. Free program. Parking $5 for cars, $7 for buses and free for bicycles and pedestrians. Located next to the water spray ground inside Blue Lake Regional Park. This is a drop-in program; no registration is necessary.

Around the Campfire at Oxbow: Steve Cheseborough - 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., Oxbow Regional Park, 3010 S.E. Oxbow Parkway. Join a special performance with Steve Cheseborough, the blues authority, singer, guitarist and yodeler. Steve sings and plays old-style blues, including some yodeling numbers, and teaches the audience to yodel along on a few. Campfire shows are open only to overnight campers. Pets are not allowed. Around the Campfire at Oxbow: The Dr. Wilderness Show - 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., Oxbow Regional Park, 3010 S.E. Oxbow Parkway. Dr. Wilderness explores the mysteries of nature in his amazing traveling magic shows. Hiking across the globe for 30 years, he returns to Oregon tonight to celebrate 'Earth, the water planet.'
