WHAT: The 39th annual Troutdale SummerFest begins at 11 a.m. with a parade along the Historic Columbia River Highway, starting west of the arch and ending at Glenn Otto Park. At the park, there will be live entertainment, music, food, vendors and kids' activities. At 4:30 p.m., a Ducky Derby benefit, sponsored by the Northwest Steelheaders, will take place off the bridge near Glenn Otto Park. The first seven ducks at the finish will receive one of many prizes, including cash and an Apple iPad. Before the parade, kids are invited to help decorate downtown with chalk provided by the city.
WHEN: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 16. The children's 'Chalk It Up' event begins at 10 a.m.
WHERE: Downtown Troutdale along the Historic Columbia River Highway and Glenn Otto Park.
COST: Free to attend. Ducks for the Duck Derby are $10.

Gresham Art Walk
WHAT: Now in its 10th year, the Gresham Art Walk will feature more than 140 local and regional artists, who will line the streets of historic downtown with everything from glassware, photography and paintings to sculptures, jewelry, pottery and recycled art. There will also be live music, children's activities and a baby grand piano for attendees to play.
WHEN: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 16.
