THURSDAY, JULY 14

Tiny Tots - 10 to 10:45 a.m., Gresham Library. Storytime for children, ages 12-24 months, with an adult.

Toddler Storytime - 10:15 to 11 a.m., Fairview-Columbia Library. Storytime for children ages 24-36 months, with an adult.

Family Storytime - 10:30 to 11 a.m., Rockwood Library. Storytime for children up to 6 years old with an adult.

Breaking the Magician's Code - 2 to 3 p.m., Gresham Library. Want to learn some new tricks to perform for friends? Charles the Magician, a sleght-of-hand expert, will share an amazing assortment of tricks.

A Year in the Life: The Oregon Jewish Immigrant Experience - 2 to 4:30 p.m., Troutdale Library. Join the Oregon Jewish Museum in learning about the history of Jewish immigrants in Oregon. Learn about the journey of 19-year-old Chaim with a traveling trunk, which contains objects, images and historical documents to provide a hands-on connection with an immigrant's life. Read to the Dogs - 2 to 3:30 p.m., Gresham Library. Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a therapy dog. Register by calling 503-988-5387.

Pageturners Book Group - 10 to 11 a.m., Rockwood Library. Read 'The White Tiger: A Novel' by Aravind Adiga and have a conversation about plot, characters and books.

Family Storytime - noon to 12:30 p.m., Rockwood Library. Storytime for children up to 6 years old with an adult.

TechnoHosts - 2 to 4 p.m., Rockwood Library. Free one-on-one computer help for the whole family. No registration is required.
