- Lake Oswego Review - News
Forest Hills Cub Scout Pack 128 will be 'Scouting for Food' for the hungry in the First Addition neighborhood on Saturday, Dec. 1, between 9 a.m. and noon.
Donations of canned foods such as tuna, chicken, beans, soups, stews and chili, or other non-perishable foods like pasta, rice, and macaroni and cheese would be appreciated.
Area residents not living in the First Addition who would like to donate may deliver donations to Forest Hills Elementary School, 1133 Andrews Road, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Dec. 1.
Last year, scouts in Oregon and Southwestern Washington collected nearly 361,000 pounds of food to benefit the Oregon Food Bank, which then are distributed to more hunger-relief agencies.
