At the Dec. 7 Lake Oswego Police Department's annual Awards dinner, Officer Jeff Oliver was named Officer of the Year.

Oliver was chosen because he is a team worker, produces quality investigations and reports, and has a positive attitude toward his work, according to LOPD spokesperson Don Forman.

Sgt. Tom Hamann and officers Kevin Webb, Clayton Simon and Chad Steele were presented with Looking Beyond the Ticket awards.

Outstanding Service awards were presented to officers Steve Filippelli, Jon Funkhouser, Josh Day and Clayton Simon; community service officers Art Emmons, Cindy Storlie, Julia Warren and Andrea Soltman; detectives Jon Harrington and Lee Ferguson; senior communications operators John Wiggins and Mary Kidd; and Clackamas County Marine Deputy Doug Olsen.

Two Citizen Recognition awards were presented to Cindi Stawicki and Adam Lee.
