What are you doing New Year's Eve?


If you never received that invite to a New Year's Eve party, or if you forgot to mail the ones to that party that won't happen now, there are plenty of local options, so you won't get left at home to ring in 2008. Here are a few New Year's opportunities - but act fast, because many of these take reservations, and they're sure to fill up quickly:

The Still Creek Inn, 73365 Highway 26 in Rhododendron, will have a New Year's Eve dinner with four special entrees for $39.95, including desert, soup and huckleberry sorbet. Highway 212 in Boring, will offer a special dinner for $18.95, including New York steak or baked chicken with all the fixings, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.
