ALBANY - The Tualatin-based Oregon Wolves ASA ages 10U softball team battled its way to a fourth-place finish at the 10U C state tournament held June 25-26 in Albany.

The Wolves won their first game at the tournament, but then, after back-to-back losses, the team had to win to remain in the tournament.

The Wolves showed a lot of perseverance and won their final two games on the opening day of the tourney.

The next day, the Wolves won their first game, but then lost their second game of the day, giving them fourth place.

Members of the team include Taylor Alderman, Savannah Braun, Tia Cordts, Lucy Feuerherdt, Logan Kelly, Megan Kindle, Natalie Lathrop, Hannah Olson, Delaney Southards, Bella Valdes, Sydney Wagner, Sasha Zuckerman and Kendra Zuckerman.

Chad Southards is the team's manager with coaches Kent Wagner, Stefan Feuerherdt, Tori Alderman and Chris Cordts.
