'Cinema Under the Stars' and Car Show

WHAT: The Greater Gresham Area Prevention Partnership and Gresham Ford are hosting a '50s and '60s car show and contest as part of the summer Cinema Under the Stars movie series. Collector car enthusiasts are welcome to join in on a first-come, first-parked basis at 6:30 p.m. The movie, 'American Graffiti,' showcases the drama of Saturday night in a small town and the cars that made it memorable.

WHEN: Saturday, July 23. The car show begins at 6:30 p.m., and prizes will be awarded at 8 p.m. The movie begins at dusk.

NeighborFair in Fairview

WHAT: The city of Fairview hosts a summer picnic for residents, who are invited to meet and interact with their elected officials in a casual and friendly environment. The city will provide hot dogs and beverages.

WHEN: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 27.

WHERE: Raze Meadows Park, adjacent to Northeast 208th Place near Halsey Street.
