Mitch Rice, a graduated senior from Beaverton High School, will be the lone Beaverton-area representative in the Oregon Coaches Association All Star Summer Basketball Series on Friday and Saturday.

Rice, a guard, will join 11 teammates on the Metro squad for two games against the State team, with contests starting at 8 p.m. Friday at Chemeketa Community College and 8 p.m. Saturday at Wilsonville High School.

The Metro team will also include Wilson's Ian Anderson, Lakeridge's Daniel Brady, Benson's Tresean Owens, Clackamas' Matt Ochs, Franklin's Colin Koach, Hillsboro's Reggie Guyton, David Douglas' Vrooman Willingham, Oregon City's Cody Hendrickson, Canby's JC Cook, Tualatin's Kyle Knudsen and Centennial's Patrick Stoudamire. The Metro team is coached by Wilson's Scott Acker and Centennial's John Poetsch.
