Beavertons Fox ends year at Santa Rosa

Now, Fox will take his talents on to UC Davis

Beaverton High graduate Trevor Fox has continued his winning ways as a pitcher for the Santa Rosa Junior College baseball team, finishing his career with a flourish on Sunday.

Fox, who led the Bear Cubs to the NorCal Super Regionals, pitched eight strong innings as his team beat the Alexandria Beetles 8-1 on Sunday. Fox struck out six, walked one, and did not allow a baserunner after the fourth - retiring 14 straight batters to close his outing.

Fox was previously honored by selection to first team all-conference in the Big Seven (the strongest conference in the northern California region).

Fox will continue next year on a baseball scholarship with the University of California Davis Aggies.
