Information from the public safety column comes from the records of the Lake Oswego Police Department. Police recently filed reports on the following incidents:
6/13 12:27 a.m. Justine May, 44, was arrested on a charge of fourth-degree assault and lodged at Clackamas County Jail.
6/14 10:17 a.m. Mark Tupper, 25, was arrested on charges of five counts of telephonic harassment.
6/14 6:48 p.m. Karen Sue Fanning, 44, was arrested for failing to appear on a charge of DUII. She was lodged at Washington County Jail.
6/15 2:32 p.m. Two juveniles were arrested and released after trying to steal a couch from Lakeridge High School.
6/15 5:39 a.m. Brandon Jeffrey Vogt, 22, was arrested for failing to appear on a charge of giving false information to police.
6/16 11:34 a.m. Shane Michael Padberg, 29, was arrested for failing to appear on a charge of criminal trespass. He was lodged at a Marion County jail.
6/16 9:48 p.m. Jessica Kimberly Porte, 19, was cited and released for driving while suspended.
6/16 10:00 p.m. Richard Kenneth Lagrave, 36, was arrested for failing to appear on a charge of driving while suspended. He was lodged at the Washington County Jail.
6/17 10:28 a.m. A juvenile who fell asleep on the soccer field at Hallinan Elementary School was referred to the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office for possible charges relating to heroin use.
6/18 3:23 p.m. Mark Tupper, 36, was arrested on four counts of telephonic harassment and lodged at Clackamas County Jail.
6/13 6:38 p.m. Three rifles, a computer and headphones were stolen during the burglary of a home on Yates Street.
6/15 5:37 p.m. A 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun and other miscellaneous items were taken during a burglary on Lakeview Boulevard.
6/16 11:40 p.m. A reported burglary on Rosewood Street was not. The doors of a refrigerator and freezer were just open because the seal was broken.
6/16 2:39 a.m. Andrew K. Schoenheit, 29, was arrested on suspicion of DUII on Highway 43 at Laurel Street. He was lodged at Clackamas County Jail.
6/17 2:28 a.m. David Joseph Rossi, 24, was arrested on suspicion of DUII on Boones Ferry Road and lodged at Clackamas County Jail.
6/13 7:59 p.m. A hit and run was witnessed in a parking lot on State Street.
6/14 7:07 a.m. One person was transported to a hospital after a two-car accident at Fourth Street and A Avenue.
6/14 5:16 p.m. No one was hurt in a two-car crash at McVey Avenue and State Street.
6/14 7:04 p.m. There were no injuries in a three-car crash at Bangy Road and Kruse Way.
6/15 4:57 p.m. No one was hurt when two cars collided on Boones Ferry Road.
6/16 2:43 p.m. There were no injuries in a two-car crash at State Street and Terwilliger Boulevard.
6/12 9:45 a.m. A box of comic books was stolen from a porch on Jefferson Parkway.
6/12 9:47 a.m. A bike was reported stolen from a patio on Carman Drive.
6/13 12:02 a.m. Items were stolen from a car on Monroe Parkway.
6/13 2:49 p.m. A cell phone was stolen from a locker at Lakeridge High School.
6/14 9:58 a.m. A car stolen from Lake Oswego was recovered by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. Items not belonging to the owner were found in the vehicle.
6/14 3:30 p.m. A cell phone was stolen from Waluga Junior High School. Police located it and returned it to the owner, who declined to press charges.
6/16 4:25 a.m. Theft was reported on Ladd Street.
6/16 11:23 a.m. An iPod was taken from a car on Botticelli Street.
6/16 12:00 p.m. Baseboard materials and moldings valued at $2,000 were stolen from a construction site on Bryant Road.
6/16 2:32 p.m. Items were taken from car. No other information was available.
6/16 8:49 p.m. A man in a gray hoodie took two cases of beer from a store on A Avenue.
6/17 2:14 p.m. Two saws, two electrical test meters, a cable and a personal headlamp were stolen from an unlocked car on Greenridge Drive.
6/18 11:31 a.m. A dog reportedly stolen from Briercliff Lane was not.
6/12 8:45 a.m. Smelly garbage was piling up at a vacant house on Wembley Park Road.
6/12 11:29 a.m. A person was hit in the head with a water balloon on State Street.
6/12 12:40 p.m. A contractor who was paid for work on a local home tried to come back for more money after he was robbed.
6/12 1:18 p.m. A landscaping company took a weed-eater to the shrubs of the wrong property on Vermeer Drive.
6/12 2:43 p.m. Someone left a red sports car in the no parking zone at Westridge Elementary School.
6/12 6:02 p.m. A large amount of mud was flowing to a storm drain on Holly Springs Road.
6/12 8:35 p.m. Two young kids were waving sticks in front of traffic on Carman Drive.
6/12 10:45 p.m. People were possibly using a vacant house on Lakeview Boulevard for access to Oswego Lake.
6/13 12:44 p.m. A bike-riding, belligerent and drunken stinky man came into a store on Bryant Road.
6/13 1:02 p.m. A man brandishing a small-size pistol was seen walking with a dark-skinned girl who was dragging a suitcase on Foothills Drive.
6/13 2:46 p.m. A man who identified himself as a photographer approached a woman on Carman Drive, asked her if he could take her picture, then asked her to get into his car. He was described as 6 feet, 1 inch, wearing a tropical shirt, with hair styled in a braided tail.
6/13 4:01 p.m. Kids shot 'a high velocity of water' at a car on Boones Ferry Road.
6/13 7:08 p.m. A shopper in a store on A Avenue called police when he was hit in the head with a football.
6/14 8:29 a.m. Students at Lakeridge High School were suspected of planning to haze other students on the last day of school. No reports of actual hazing incidents followed.
6/14 9:29 a.m. Damage to the tune of $500 was inflicted to the hood of a car on Springbrook Court.
6/14 9:52 a.m. A teen in a go-kart rode through Springbrook Park.
6/14 3:15 p.m. Another teenager riding a go-kart crossed Boones Ferry Road.
6/14 3:17 p.m. Boys in a pickup truck were pointing a pellet gun at motorists on Boones Ferry Road.
6/15 3:56 a.m. A man walking through a parking lot on Boones Ferry Road 'appeared dazed and out of it.'
6/15 10:28 a.m. A garage door was stuck open on Auburn Court.
6/15 12:51 p.m. A second grader was possibly assaulted by an older student.
6/15 2:37 p.m. About 15 kids were jumping off the dolphins at Roehr Park. Police told them not to do so.
6/15 3:29 p.m. A loud garage band was playing on Independence Avenue.
6/15 3:32 p.m. Two kids carrying an ax and a saw were headed for Southwood Park.
6/15 3:32 p.m. Large bags of garbage were in the middle of the road at Highway 43 and Terwilliger Boulevard.
6/15 4:20 p.m. Ten junior high students were running around a State Street parking lot with shopping carts.
6/15 5:35 p.m. Five kids on skateboards were jumping the curb on Mercantile Drive, then landing in the street.
6/15 6:36 p.m. Three kids were throwing water balloons at cars on State Street.
6/15 6:50 p.m. A crow was stuck inside a new building on Ridgeview Lane. It was rescued.
6/15 7:33 p.m. A bicyclist on Lesser Road was harassed by a passenger in van, possibly as a result of road rage.
6/16 12:08 a.m. Reports of loud music and screaming on Jefferson Parkway turned out to be a man listening to music and arguing on the phone with his girlfriend.
6/16 8:28 a.m. A local family received a call that their friend 'Haskel' was released from jail. They didn't know anybody named Haskel.
6/16 9:56 a.m. A dying raccoon was hanging around Lakeridge High School. Police found it wasn't dying, just had a malformed leg.
6/16 10:00 a.m. Garage sale signs were taken from Maple Street and the homeowner wanted an explanation. A reason was also sought as to why Maple Street is not on the city map.
6/16 4:01 p.m. A window was broken out of a vacant house in Inverurie Road.
6/16 4:26 p.m. A Port-a-Potty was set on fire on Greentree Road.
6/16 6:20 p.m. The raccoon at Lakeridge High School was still looking pretty sick. Police came to the same conclusion about the critter, that it just has a bad leg.
6/16 6:40 p.m. A Pizza Hut delivery vehicle almost hit a man and his children on Del Prado.
6/16 8:34 p.m. Two people with yellow paint on their clothes were rubbing against cars on First Street.
6/17 7:56 a.m. The raccoon at Lakeridge was still arousing some concern.
6/17 9:44 a.m. The raccoon was dead at Lakeridge.
6/17 8:42 p.m. A guy screaming 'don't hurt me' on St. Clair Drive apparently wasn't in any real danger.
6/17 9:25 p.m. A house was egged, onioned and appled on Cheryl Court.
6/18 12:10 a.m. A resident on Jefferson Parkway was concerned about a possible camera in the ceiling above his bed.
6/18 12:27 a.m. A group of juveniles was cited for possession of alcohol after yelling at a neighbor on Greentree Circle who asked them to keep the noise down.
6/18 2:52 p.m. A woman who reported her car stolen from a downtown store was taken to a hospital.
6/18 3:09 p.m. A resident smelled pot on Mayors Lane.
6/18 10:48 p.m. A group of juveniles jumped into the bushes on Cervantes Street.
6/12 10:22 a.m. A local person's credit card was on a spending spree in Mexico.
6/14 12:03 p.m. An employee at a local business forged checks and contracts to be invoiced.
6/16 1:03 p.m. Someone tried to cash a fraudulent cashier's check valued at $5,000.
