To the Editor:
While watching the news the other night, I noticed that (once again) due to a shortage of funds, Portland schoolchildren are again losing programs. Say, I've got a great idea! Why not just build another money-pit of a multi-million dollar tram? Or perhaps the answer is a never-seen, hardly used Esplanade? Or just commission another expensive, full-size bronze statue of Vera Katz!?
Portland's priorities should first be the children.
Good job, Portland bureaucrats.
