by: Pamplin Media Group, Here's how the home page of the new Web site looks like.

There's a new daily newspaper in town.

Starting this week, Lake Oswego along with Portland and its many suburban communities have a daily source of news that will serve them with a constant stream of relevant and immediate information that matters most to local residents.

But don't look in the news rack for this particular newspaper. It can instead be found only on line at Please check out our new site.

In addition, we have revamped the Review's existing Web site and changed Web providers. The Review's site can be accessed from the localnewsdaily site or at

The Web sites are jointly produced by the combined resources of the Lake Oswego Review, Community Newspapers, the Portland Tribune and AM 860 KPAM - all locally owned by Pamplin Media Group.

The combined effort of these news staffs - the second largest news-gathering organization in Oregon - will provide the most immediate local reporting to give metro-area residents the best comprehensive source of news, sports, features and entertainment information. In addition, breaking national and international news will be available online through KPAM's partnership with the Associated Press.

Meanwhile, we will continue to publish and distribute our various weekly, twice weekly and monthly newspapers.
