Michael Allen Mosher

East County resident Michael Allen Mosher, 51, died Sunday, July 17.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at Cherry Park Presbyterian Church, 2465 S.W. Cherry Park Road, Troutdale.

Michael was born June 8, 1960, in Portland to Michael and Melanie Mosher. He graduated from Reynolds High School in 1978.

Michael enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with family.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Mosher of Portland; father and stepmother, Michael and Sandi Mosher of Portland; mother and stepfather, Melanie and Bill Grill of Longview, Wash.; brothers, Robert Mosher and Steve Mosher of Troutdale; sister, Lisa Striplin of Portland; and one granddaughter.

Marie J. Drayton

June 1, 1937-July 18, 2011

East Portland resident Marie J. Drayton died Monday, July 18. She was 74.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd.

Marie was born June 1, 1937, in Alameda, Calif., to Acel and Gertrude (Ord) Stafford.

Marie was a longtime East County resident. She was an Avon representative for 34 years and was a member of Avon's President's Club.

Marie enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, David Drayton; son, Dana Drayton of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Debra Cook of Fairview; and three grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 1200 N.W. Naito Parkway, Suite 220, Portland, 97209.

Lisa Anne Winters

March 8, 1963-July 15, 2011

Former Gresham resident Lisa Anne Winters, 48, died Friday, July 15, in Hermiston.

A funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 565 W. Hermiston Ave., Hermiston. Interment will be at Hermiston Cemetery.

Lisa was born March 8, 1963, in Grafton, N.D., to Donald Normand and Earline Stoltz Normand. The family moved to Gresham in 1964 and Lisa graduated from Gresham High School in 1981. She then attended Mt. Hood Community College and earned her degree as a medical assistant. She later returned to school to become a limited X-ray technician. She worked in Portland and Sandy.

Lisa married Jay Winters in September 1986. They resided in Gresham until 1993, when they moved to Hermiston.

Lisa worked as an educational assistant at Desert View Elementary School in Hermiston since 2004. She was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and canning, and she had a passion for sewing, which included sewing her own wedding dress. She also enjoyed watching her children participate in their various activities.

Her son, Austin Anthony Winters, preceded her in death in 2008.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Chase and Casey Winters of Hermiston; daughter, Katelynn Winters of Hermiston; parents of Gresham; sister, Joy Childs of Troutdale; brothers, Dale and Wayne Normand of Gresham, and Guy Normand of Tigard; and many nieces and nephews.

Deane Bond

Sept. 12, 1927-July 20, 2011

Gresham resident Deane Bond died Wednesday, July 20. He was 83.

No public service will be held. There will be a private interment and family celebration of his life.

Deane was born Sept. 12, 1927, in Eugene to Noble and Miriam Bond. Deane was a descendant of members of an 1853 wagon train group that settled in the Eugene area. He attended Eugene High School and the University of Oregon, where he played football. He was also a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

Deane was drafted in the Army during World War II and served on a hospital ship. Upon his return, he attended the New York Institute of Photography. Deane worked on the University of Oregon photo staff, The Oregonian newspaper and for Pacific Telephone and Telegraph. He retired from Pacific Northwest Bell as the company photographer in 1981. Deane worked in the public relations department for company publications, audio-visual presentations and movie and video productions.

He married Barbara MacGregor in 1949. They later divorced. Deane married Judy Gray in 1983.

Survivors include his wife; former wife, Barbara Prouty; children, Darlene Poirier of Portland, Greg Bond of Milwaukie and Jeff Bond of Redmond; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society or to the American Lung Association.

Jonathan Dalton Schneibel

July 6, 1983-July 20, 2011

Jonathan Dalton Schneibel, 28, died Wednesday, July 20, in Beaverton.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, at Greater Portland Baptist Church, 17800 S.E. Main St.
