Patricia "Pat" O. McArthur

Gresham resident Patricia 'Pat' O. McArthur, 78, died Monday, July 3. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd., Gresham. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 10, at the Willamette National Cemetery, 11800 S.E. Mount Scott Blvd., Portland.
Pat was born June 6, 1928, to Raymond D. and Coquetta Mary (Phillips) Carson in Livermore, Calif.
She was raised and educated in Portland, where she graduated from James Adams High School in 1947.
On June 15, 1947, she married George Harding McArthur in Portland.
He preceded her in death Dec. 16, 1988.
She was a homemaker. The family moved to Gresham in 1962.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Douglas and Jerry Carson, and one grandchild.
Survivors include her sons, Tom McArthur of Clear Lake, Calif. and Mike McArthur of Gresham; daughters, Sharon Allsop of Eagle Creek and Karen Swayze of Gresham; brother, John Carson of Canyonville; twin sister, Priscilla Frice of Portland; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
