The West Coast College Baseball League all-star game ended in a 6-6 deadlock Tuesday, July 11. Aloha Knights' center fielder Zach Borba earned co-Most Valuable Player honors after hitting 3 for 5 with three stolen bases. He gave the West squad a 6-3 lead in the seventh inning when he hit a double, stole third and scored during the next at-bat.

The East all-stars pulled even with a three-run burst in the bottom of the seventh.

Knights' infielder Mark Samuelson hit 1 for 4 and scored twice, while Aloha pitchers Mark Rzepczynski and Jared Prince combined to retire all six batters they faced.

Aloha continues its three-week road trip in Bend this weekend before returning home to start a series with Bellingham on Thursday, July 20.
