Oregon's basketball team will play 12 games against teams that advanced to 2006 postseason tournaments, including Georgetown and Nebraska. But it's a markedly weaker non-league schedule than in past years.
The Ducks will play host to the Black College Coaches Classic, Nov. 10-12, with Lehigh, Cal State-Northridge and Portland State in the round-robin tournament at McArthur Court.
The Ducks play at Georgetown on Nov. 29 and Nebraska on Dec. 9 in the annual Pape Jam game in Portland. Other non-league games feature UC-Irvine, Rice, Bethune-Cookman, Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Mercer and Portland.
The Eastern Washington game, Dec. 15 at Mac Court, will be exciting, because the Eagles sport one of the college game's top players in Rodney Stuckey.
Oregon opens the Pac-10 season Dec. 30 at Oregon State.
