After more than two years of planning, development and construction, Ironcrest Estates in Gresham officially opens to the public with a grand opening event from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10.
Ironcrest Estates is near the intersection of Northeast Cleveland and Sixth avenues in Gresham between Division Street and Powell Boulevard.
Visitors will get their first chance to experience all the community has to offer, including distinguished standard amenities, upscale options and a convenient location that's close to entertainment, fine dining, transportation and shopping.
Fred Jones, a Gresham native and NBA Slam Dunk Champion, will make a special appearance at the celebration for autograph signings and a meet-and-greet session. There will be live entertainment, hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, raffle prizes and tours of the three available floor plans.
The city's newest private gated luxury community, Ironcrest Estates, offers both modern livability and historic charm. Designed by one of the nations leading architectural firms, Myhre Group Architects; Ironcrest Estates is a dynamic blend of three attractive architectural styles and six unique floor plans.
The tri-level town homes are three- and four-bedroom units, featuring genuine hardwood flooring, porcelain tile countertops, contemporary light fixtures, gas fireplaces with slate tile, vaulted ceilings and pre-wiring for surround sound; all offered as standard amenities. The community serves all ages, from young professionals and families to empty nesters, and homes range from 1,515 to 1,990 square feet and from $248,000 to $300,000.
'The land that Ironcrest is now being built upon sat there virtually untouched for over nine years. I saw more than just a piece of land, I saw an opportunity to make what once was undesirable and turn it into a place where people would want to live,' said Hermann Colas Jr., CEO of Colas Construction, Inc. and Owner of Skyland Development.
'Residents of Ironcrest Estates can take advantage of living in a private community while enjoying the convenience of urban living,' Hermann said.
Each unit is comprised of elegant master suites, large covered balconies, picture windows and attached garages. Select units include his and her walk-in closets, French doors and custom built-ins for creative use.
'This grand opening celebration is a great time to take advantage of introductory pricing,' Aneshka Dickson, a broker with Skyland Realty Real Estate said. 'We invite everyone to come and select the kind of home that is perfect for them in this great community.'
