{img:1765}Police on Tuesday arrested a 33-year-old man who they say killed a Happy Valley woman and wounded her daughter in a shooting Sunday night.

A multi-agency team took Jason Duane Hogan Jr. into custody on Aug. 7, at about 10:40 a.m., at the Beaverton Transit Center, where he was crossing a pedestrian bridge armed with a handgun.

Clackamas County sheriff’s detectives said two women injured in their Southeast Hobart Court residence were taken Oregon Health and Science University Hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds.

The victims were identified as Gina Marie Perrone, 29, and Norma Jean Perrone, 62.

According to the sheriff’s office, a woman called emergency dispatchers at about 10:41 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, saying she and her mother had been shot in their residence. A short time later, others in the area reported hearing gunshots.

Deputies rushed to the house, but were unable to find the person who shot the two women. One of the victims told deputies that she had been shot by Hogan.
