Wells Fargo has appointed Clackamas resident Tony Fox a regional bank private banker in downtown Portland. He previously worked in a similar position for Wells Fargo in Gresham.

In his new position, Fox works with clients to understand their personal values and financial needs, and to provide solutions that help meet short- and long-term goals. He can also coordinate the knowledge and resources of other Wells Fargo specialists, including trust and estate planning, investment management, life insurance and brokerage services.

The Oregon native joined Wells Fargo in 2002 as an assistant manager of a consumer finance store. After two years, he was promoted to manager of a bank branch. In 2005, Wells Fargo appointed him as sales development consultant for its home equity team.

Fox earned bachelor of science degrees in business administration and sociology from University of Oregon. He also earned an MBA from Marylhurst University. Last year, Wells Fargo named him one of its top employees in the nation.
