'Endangered' man walks away from Milwaukie group home
During the evening hours of Sunday, Oct. 28, 40-year-old Kenneth Leroy Strine failed to return from a walk after leaving his group home in the Grove Loop neighborhood of Milwaukie. Strine suffers from medical conditions requiring daily medications and is known to walk from Southeast Harmony Road and Linwood Avenue to 82nd and Causey avenues in Happy Valley. Although caretakers believed he would stay local, he had recently made statements about going home to Eugene.
Strine is described 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds with shoulder-length, dark-brown hair. He is described as unshaven. Due to injuries sustained in a traffic crash several years ago, he has a visible scar on the left side of his face. (The attached photo is several years old and does not show the facial scar.)
He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a dark-blue hoody, and a gray and silver coat displaying at Dallas Cowboys football logo. He was also wearing a blue stocking cap, and brown shoes.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Kenneth Strine is asked to contact police. He has been entered into the law enforcement database as a missing/endangered person.
