Leaders who say California sea lions continue to threaten the safety of Oregon fish and fishermen on the Willamette River have organized a town hall meeting in Oregon City.

The Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife has hazed sea lions using non-lethal weapons during the past two years. The Legislature last year passed House Bill 3255 to increase the frequency of ODFW agents, starting next year, at Willamette Falls during prime fishing season.

Join State Rep. Dave Hunt and state ODFW and federal NOAA Fisheries leaders to share your feedback, questions, concerns and suggestions at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Rivershore Hotel Banquet Room, 1900 Clackamette Drive, Oregon City.
