by: OREGON STATE POLICE - A fatal traffic crash blocks South End Road for hours south of Oregon City.A fatal traffic crash has blocked off Highway 99E (McLoughlin Boulevard) near South End Road on Friday afternoon for four hours.

On Dec. 21, at approximately 1:25 p.m., a 2001 Dodge Durango driven by Eric Dean Hoskins, 31, from Molalla, was heading northbound on 99E near milepost 17 north of South End Road when he crossed the center paved median and collided nearly head-on with a southbound 2001 Ford two-door passenger car. The Ford's driver, Susanne Frances Forman, 62, from Scotts Mills, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Hoskins was transported by AMR ambulance to Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City for an examination of a possible injury.

OSP troopers from the Portland and Salem offices responded to the scene, and Senior Trooper Dan Swift is the lead investigator. Clackmas County District Attorney's Office is assisting OSP. No enforcement decision anticipated until investigation has concluded and been reviewed with their office.

OSP was assisted at the scene by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, the Canby Fire Department and ODOT.
