A 74-year-old cold-case murder suspect from California was tracked down this week south of Oregon City.

On Wednesday, Jan. 9, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office detectives assisted detectives from the Tustin Police Department in locating and apprehending murder suspect Charles Lee Clark.

Clark had an active warrant issued Jan. 7 from the Orange County District Court for his arrest related to the cold-case murder of Kathleen Witkowski, 36 at time of her death, in Tustin, Calif., in 1990.

Clark is currently being held in Clackamas County Jail awaiting extradition to the Orange County Jail, Calif.
