Flashbulbs will be popping and the red carpet will be out for the first annual Somerset Assisted Living “Grammy” Awards on Jan. 31.

The facility is accepting nominations for the best grandmother, grandfather or grandparents, until Jan. 25 at 5 p.m. Grandchildren are encouraged to nominate their grandparents by submitting a letter of one page or less, stating why their nominees were the best in 2012.

Send letters to: “Grammy” Awards, 8360 Cason Road, Gladstone 97027. Be sure to include grandchildren’s contact information, including name, phone number and address.
