School districts again open enrollment
Open enrollment of non-resident students was approved by the Oregon City School Board this week as allowed under House Bill 3681.
House Bill 3681 was enacted by the 2011 legislature and provides an additional method of school choice for Oregon students.

Space is available for next year's kindergartners through fifth graders at Beavercreek Elementary, Jennings Lodge Elementary and Candy Lane Elementary, as well ninth and 10th graders at Oregon City High School.
Open enrollment at the middle school level has not yet been decided. If you are interested in enrolling at one of the Oregon City middle schools, you are encouraged to fill out the application form.
Open Enrollment was approved by the Gladstone School Board on Nov. 14 for the 2013-2014 school year. Its application deadline is also April 1, and applications are available at http://www.gladstone.k12.or.us/
