Plant sale benefits Rex Putnam High School

Planning your summer garden? Need flowers for Mother’s Day? Rex Putnam High School is taking orders for spring plants, a fundraiser to support the Class of 2013 graduation party, which provides teens with a safe and supervised celebration.

“Annuals, hanging baskets, planters, geraniums, herbs, and vegetables are available,” said organizer Julie Bailey. “We’ve got an amazing variety, from impatiens, petunias, and lobelia to snap dragons and cosmos.”

To place an order by April 5, visit the school website at nclack.k12.or.us/putnam. Orders should be turned into the school office at 4950 S.E. Roethe Road in Oak Grove. Plants will be available for pick-up on Sunday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school. For information, call Julie Bailey at 503-804-5198.
