Schrader to address local business owners


This has been an interesting and sometimes confusing year for people following activities in Washington, D.C. The local business community will have an opportunity to discuss issues and ask questions of Democratic Rep. Kurt Schrader at an Eggs N’ Issues breakfast hosted by the North Clackamas County Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, May 2.

Schrader will address fiscal reform and other business issues and give his perspective on what is happening on Capitol Hill. In addition to discussing issues that affect local business, he also will take questions from the floor regarding local concerns.

Schrader is on the House Committee on Agriculture, the House Committee on Small Business and the House Budget Committee.

Business has faced challenging times in the past several years, and small businesses seem to be taking the brunt of the economic hits. Hear what Congress is doing to help the business economy. Get face to face with your congressional member and ask questions.

The Eggs N’ Issues breakfast will be held at the Monarch Hotel and Conference Center, 12566 S.E. 93rd Ave., Clackamas.
