Run to help kids with autism

Families hoping to get in shape for summer are invited to participate in a 5K/1K run and walk at Happy Valley Middle School, 13865 S.E. King Road, on Saturday, April 13, with registration is at 7:30 a.m.

The event is a fundraiser for Camp Odakoda (formerly Camp Quest), an overnight camp for youths age 10 to 15 with Asperger’s Syndrome and high-functioning autism.

Entry fees are $24 for the 5k run, $15 for the 1k walk, and $10 for children under 13 for any activity. All entry fees will increase by $5 on race day. For more information, visit asdoregon.org.
