Lorna J. Benedict died May 14. She was born Dec. 4, 1953, to Lowell J. and Lorna E. (Harter) Andrew in Oregon City.

She had a brother Lowell “Jim” Jr. and a sister Leslie. They lived in Oregon City until Lorna was 5 years old, then they moved to Clackamas. When she was 15 years old, the family moved to Milwaukie.

She went to Clackamas Elementary and Clackamas High School, where she graduated in 1972.

Lorna is survived by her spouse, Gene Dave Benedict; siblings Jim Andrew (Debbie) of Vancouver, Wash., and Leslie Hackett (Bryon) of Milwaukie, and eight beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Lorna and Lowell Andrew. A service will be held Friday, May 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Willamette National Cemetery 11800 S.E. Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland.

Charles (Chuck) Paul Iselin

Sept. 28, 1955 - May 5, 2013

Charles (Chuck) Paul Iselin, 57, died at home on May 5, in Beavercreek surrounded by the love of his family and friends; cause of death was ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).

He was born on Sept. 28, 1955, in Racine, Wis., to Roger and Mary Iselin.

Mr. Iselin is survived by his wife of 15 years, Carolee; brother, William (Anne) Iselin; three sisters, Nancy (Timothy) Collentine, Susan (Daniel) Paulson and Sally (Randall) Reichert; four nieces; and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Roger Iselin.

A celebration of his life will take place at a later date in Beavercreek and Wisconsin.
