CCSO arrests man for drunk-driving crash

Clackamas County deputies say a drunk Portland man on Friday afternoon crashed his Pathfinder into the back of the Ford Ranger pickup, which then collided into the back of a patrol car at the intersection of Southeast 82nd and Causey avenues.

On Sept. 6 at approximately 3:15 p.m., there were two deputies in the patrol car at the time of the collision, and neither was injured.

An investigation determined the person at fault for the collision was Sean Jacob Hannigan, 39, who stated he was traveling south on 82nd when he became distracted and collided with the pickup. One of the Ford Ranger's female passengers was transported by American Medical Response to Milwaukie Providence Hospital due to back and neck pain.

When Hannigan displayed signs of impairment, police conducted an investigation and then arrested him for driving under the influence of intoxicants. CCSO is still investigating this incident, and Hannigan was evaluated by a certified Drug Recognition Evaluator.by: CCSO - Pictured is the Ford Ranger after a crash in Clackamas on Friday.
