Apply for seats on OC boards

There are vacancies on Oregon City’s Budget Committee, Natural Resources Committee and Transportation Advisory Committee.

Oregon City has 15 active boards, commissions or committees that review new and existing city operations.

Mayor Doug Neeley or the City Commission appoints citizen volunteers to these advisory bodies. City officials say that the job of board and commission members is crucial to the success of Oregon City’s representative government.

Applications are being accepted for immediate appointment to the vacancies, and there also will be openings to fill after Dec. 31 for nine other boards. Visit orcity.org for details on the 20 positions available.

The deadline to apply for openings is Oct. 21.
