Clackamas firefighters don pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Clackamas Fire District No. 1 supported the efforts of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by “Going Pink” on Wednesday.

by: PHOTO COURTESY: CLACKAMAS FIRE - Clackamas firefighters at Station 15 in Oregon City proudly don their pink T-shirts for breast-cancer awareness.In this first year that Clackamas Fire wore pink to support the cause, donations from the Clackamas County Professional Firefighters Local 1159, the Boring/Clackamas Volunteer Firefighters Association and Northwest Safety Clean purchased about 100 T-shirts. The firefighters union also donated $1,000 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
