Oak Grove shops plan local revitalization

Revitalization of Oak Grove is the goal of the new Historic Downtown Oak Grove Neighborhood Association supported by Clackamas County’s Economic and Development Department.

The groups are encouraging the public to visit addresses 2100 through 2190 S.E. Oak Grove Blvd. for holiday shopping, entertainment, art, music and food. Located indoors at the corner of Oak Grove Boulevard and Arista Drive, the Trolley Trail Holiday Market will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 6, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekend until Christmas.

The mission of the Trolley Trail Market is to serve as a gathering place where food vendors, producers and artisans can offer refreshments, crafts and related products to generate a sense of local pride and further revitalization and development of historic Oak Grove community. With a focus on community, the Trolley Trail Market expects to bring more visibility and interest to the Trolley Trail and downtown Oak Grove by offering products and events to residents and trail users.
