NAMI of Clackamas County wants to help you learn from other parents who have been there.

Parents and primary caregivers of children and adolescents with a mental health issue are invited to six free classes. Learn the fundamentals of caring for you, your family and your child with a mental illness.

Topics include the trauma of mental illness for the child and family, getting an accurate diagnosis, the medical aspects of the illness, advances in treatment, an overview of the systems involved in caring for children and teens and the importance of accurate record keeping.
