Light-rail construction requires McLoughlin lane closures
Beginning next week, all traffic lanes on Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard at Park Avenue will shift to the west side as crews begin rebuilding the roadway on the east side
Officials managing the construction of the Portland-Milwaukie light rail say the transit project will require several other detours and intermittent lane closures near this intersection in north Clackamas County through October.
No left turns will be permitted onto Park Avenue from McLoughlin Boulevard in either the northbound or southbound direction, and the bike lane will be closed between River Road and Park Avenue.
Northbound bus stops on McLoughlin Boulevard between River Road and Park Avenue are closed through July, and the southbound bus stops on this stretch of McLoughlin Boulevard will be closed in August and September.
Park Avenue between McLoughlin and Oatfield Road remains closed in the eastbound direction during construction, but Park Avenue west of McLoughlin will remain open in both directions.
