Bring your lawn chair and favorite beverage and join Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers for an evening of family fun and dancing in support of foster-care volunteers.

The nonprofit organization free concert will featuring Harmony Road's 1970s rock and Whiskey Deaf with Annie Staninec playing bluegrass and old-time music from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at Willamette Park in West Linn.

There you can help benefit Child Advocates, Inc. (CASA of Clackamas County), whose nearly 130 CASAs volunteer their time and energy each month to help abused and neglected children in foster care in Clackamas County find safe permanent homes. CASAs act as eyes and ears for the court, gathering information in order to make recommendations that are in the best interest of the children they represent.
