'Happy Daze' comes to Clackamas Community College gallery in OC
A graduate of Marylhurst's fine arts program will show his prints in an exhibition titled "Happy Daze" Sept. 18-Oct. 27 at Clackamas Community College's Alexander Gallery located in the Niemeyer Center, 19600 Molalla Ave., Oregon City.
Josh Gross' high-quality ink jet prints seek to explore living life to the fullest and finding usefulness even in negative experiences. The West Linn-based artist "captures the story of one joyful day in 2017 using symbols depicting iconic imagery of the Northwest and contemporary sociopolitical views," according to the description of the show.
The public is invited to a free artist reception from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in the Alexander Gallery. Gross will speak about his work at 1 p.m.
