A suspect was caught on video having stolen a package at approximately 2:28 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, from a residence on Apperson Boulevard, near the Holcomb Boulevard intersection in Oregon City.

Video evidence shows a suspect pulling up in front of the victim's residence, running onto the porch and stealing a package. The man ran back to his vehicle and drove north on Apperson Boulevard.

The suspect was driving a red four-door sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla or similar vehicle, with black rims. Police are looking for a thin, white man in his 20s or 30s with short dark or brown hair and wearing blue jeans and a blue striped, short-sleeve shirt.

If anyone recognizes the suspect or vehicle or has information about the theft, they are encouraged to call the Oregon City Police Tip-Line at 503-496-1616.
