Gladstone, Redland, Beavercreek areas offered meal delivery for the first time

Locally owned Food on Demand recently provided Oregon City and surrounding areas with many more food-delivery choices.

Food On Demand co-owner Brooke Herold with her son Josh, 16, who works delivery and dispatch for the new Oregon City-based company.So far, restaurants such as Mazatlan, Panda Express, Subway, Taco Bell, Mesa Fresca, Filipina Cuisine and Toki Sushi are participating.

Food on Demand has given residents of Oregon City, Beavercreek, Redland and Gladstone the ability to order home delivery of food from the convenience of their home with the click of a button.

According to the owners of Food on Demand, residents of the rural unincorporated areas of Beavercreek and Redland have been especially appreciative of this service since they did not previously have any delivery options available.

Brooke, Janice and Craig Herold, owners of Food on Demand, have been residents of Oregon City for many years and look forward to helping out the community.

Food on Demand strives to provide local residents with jobs to help boost the local economy. All drivers hired will be local residents who are hoping to support hometown restaurants.

The company has been growing since December through social media platforms and word of mouth. Food on Demand operates 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
