County officials looking for individuals representing organized labor, technology and health care fields

Clackamas County commissioners are seeking three people to fill vacanices on the Clackamas Workforce Partnership board of directors.

County officials are specifically looking for individuals representing organized labor, technology and health care fields in the business-led work force development organization. The board has representatives from education, economic development, community-based organizations and local government.

Clackamas Workforce Partnership is "dedicated to taking a leadership role in forging a strong and vital partnership between business and the work force development community, and fostering an accountable, market-driven and world-class public work force system."

The board also aims to assist businesses in meeting their recruitment and employee retention needs, and to coordinate work force activities with economic development and educational organizations in local communities.
