Marshall commits to Concordia
McKenzie Marshall of Oregon City is among three Clackamas Community College sophomores who have committed to playing softball at Concordia University.
Marshall, who pitched and played first base and designated player, was a Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American. She was the 2012 NWAACC Southern Region Player of the Year and an NWAACC All-Tournament selection.
Marshall finished the 2012 season with a 24-4 record, a 2.11 ERA and 195 strikeouts, 28 walks and 144 hits allowed in 176 innings. She played in 48 games, compiling a.359 batting average, with 42 runs scored, 52 RBI and 20 extra-base hits, including seven home runs.
CCC sophomores Katie Aden (Tigard) and Caitlyn Frasier (Lake Oswego) have also committed to play for Concordia.
