Mike Hebrard and his Clackamas business Athletic Field Design, have received national recognition for their work at the Alpenrose Stadium.

Alpenrose Stadium was honored recently by the Sports Turf Managers Association as the 2012 Schools/Park Softball Field of the Year.

The facility is owned by Alpenrose Dairy and has hosted the Little League Softball World Series for the past 19 years. The field is maintained by Hebrard and his Athletic Field Design staff.

Over the past three seasons, Hebrard and his staff have removed the infield grass and prepped the field for skinned infield play for the Softball World Series. And following the series, they’ve reseeded the infield.
