Clackamas junior Ashley Filler and Oregon City junior Kaitlyn Donaca have received recognition in the 2014 high school softball all-state balloting.

Filler was selected to the Class 6A third team of all-stars for her play in centerfield, while Donaca received honorable mention for her play at shortstop.

Filler led her team with a .462 batting average, 24 runs and 24 hits in Three Rivers League play. Thirteen of her 24 hits went for extra bases.

Donaca led her team with a .446 batting average (41/92). She also had 16 RBI and nine stolen bases.

Canby senior infielder Gina Bond and West Linn junior outfielder Maddi Higgins were the only players from the Three Rivers League named to the Class 6A all-state first team.

West Linn junior catcher Caroline Freiling and Canby sophomore DH/utility player Sarah Bizon were selected to the second all-state team.

West Linn sophomore pitcher Sarah Von Ahn and Canby senior catcher Colleen Crutchfield were on the third team with Filler.
