Top-ranked West Linn entered Saturday's Class 6A state championship baseball game at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer with a Three Rivers League championship and a 21-game winning streak.

Second-ranked Clackamas came into the game with a Mt. Hood Conference championship and a 16-game winning streak of its own.

In this case, it was West Linn that gave way, held to just three hits by Cavaliers pitcher KC Reilly in Clackamas' 5-1 state-title victory.
