The Gaffney Lane Elementary School PTO Board would like to thank the following businesses and members of the community for their gracious donations of products, services, money and time to our first-annual Harvest Festival:

John McLoughlin Elementary School, Starbucks Volunteers, Oregon City High School JROTC Program Volunteers, Fred Meyer, Sysco Foods, Burgerville, Haggen, Portland Photo Booth, Modele Salon, NIKE Golf, Oregon Golf Club, Blazers, Jack Bailey & TubeArt Group, Blue Lotus Dressage & Far Sight Farm, Joes Burgers, Little Caesars, Shari’s Restaurant, Brett Johnson DMD, Hilltop Smiles Dentistry, Bret Pippett at Country Financial, Bob’s Red Mill, Nautilus, Game Star, Oaks Park, Bullwinkles, Sky High, JJ Jump, Malibu Raceway, Albertson’s, Cash & Carry, Flyin’ Hawaiian Food Cart, Thrive Pacific N.W. Food Cart, Elevations Hair Design, Nails Unlimited, Mazatlan, Jimmy O’s, Bugatti’s, Trader Joe’s, Grocery Outlet, Yogurt Shack, Bajio Mexican Grill and Pet Smart.

Faced with cutting some of our PTO sponsored events and programs next year, we decided on holding a Harvest Festival as a new fundraiser. With only four weeks to plan, our goal for this year was to just break even. Our hope was that the Harvest Festival would become our main fundraiser in future years. Due to the overwhelming support and generous donations of these businesses, we did much more than just break even, and will now be able to continue all of our current PTO sponsored events and programs next year.

We hope by writing this letter to the editor, we can bring further recognition to the businesses that have helped make our fundraiser a success. We believe the support received from them has strengthened our entire school and community, and we sincerely thank them.
