With an incredible weekend of weather, local art and music take center stage

With a name like “Summer Celebration,” it’s only fitting to be blessed with sunshine and clear skies, something that can’t always be assumed in Oregon.

Fortunately, both blue skies and warm weather were on full display for a fun-filled weekend downtown.

The activities got off to a roaring start Friday evening with live music acts at restaurants throughout town until 7:30 p.m. Then, things heated up on the main stage as bands from a wide range of styles provided entertainment well into the night.

On Saturday morning things picked back up with the art fair and mural painting alongside another day filled with entertainment. No matter what your fancy, there was something for everyone at the Summer Celebration.
